Upload your portrait

Instructions

  1. First you'll want to get something saying 'I'm a Photographer Not a Terrorist!' this bit's important, if you don't have this we won't publish your photo! You can download and print some of our artwork if you haven't made your own already, but get creative and make your own, varierty is the spice of life and all that.
  2. Don't cheat and just photoshop it afterwards, our team of expert photoshop-spotters will see it and banish your upload into the cold emptiness of digital annihilation.
  3. Next you need to fill in your name and email address. We'd like it if you posted under your real name, not a silly internet alias, we might not post your photo if you don't.
  4. We also need your email address, this won't be published but we need it in case there's something wrong with your upload or we want to contact you about using your photo outside of the website. Don't worry, we won't sell your address to evil spammers.
  5. Finally and most importantly you need to upload your portrait, make sure it's saved as a jpeg and the filesize isn't greater than 1MB Images that are 1024px on the longest side are best.

Copyright

By uploading your portrait to the site you are giving us permission to use it for the I'm a Photographer Not a Terrorist campaign website only, we will not sell your photos in whole or part ourselves or to anyone else. What's good

  • Interesting poses, don't just stand there!
  • Relevant locations
  • More than one person
  • Posting under your real name - stand up and be counted
  • Including your website/twitter/flickr so we can link back

What we don't want

  • Signs that don't say 'I'm a Photographer Not a Terrorist!' and no photoshopping it in afterwards!
  • Images you don't own the copyright to
  • Naked bits
  • Or anything else you wouldn't want your mother to see
  • Breaking the law (Trespass etc.)
